What to Bring & Other Essentials
- Gun
- Ammo (100 rounds, with extra ammunition recommended for participation in shotgun games. Ammunition will be available for purchase on-site if needed)
- Eye and ear protection (If forgotten, complementary protection will be provided)
- Please inform us if you plan to bring your Polaris/ranch vehicle (No golf carts allowed!)
Keeping Score
We use the Lewis Class Scoring System where shooters are grouped into three classes based on their skill levels so everyone has a chance to win. Prizes will be awarded to the top team in each class.
When all the shooting has been completed, the scores are listed in numerical order from highest to lowest. They are then divided into three group classes.
MULLIGANS
Mulligans are purchased and used for an extra chance to shoot at a target. If you miss a target you can use a mulligan to take another shot. Remember, it is not used as an automatic hit.

Shotgun Games Include:
Long Bird
In a long bird round, participants rotate turns shooting at clay targets launched at a distance. Players score points for hitting the targets, and the one with the highest score at the end is the winner.
Annie Oakley
Person A will have the opportunity to shoot the target but when missed Person B will have the same opportunity to hit the target before it lands.
Flurry Competition
A team of two shooters attempt to break up to 30 clay targets. the team with the most broken clays wins.
Gunboard Raffle hosted by MacPherson’s
Purchase a gun board ticket to have a chance to win one of the two shotguns below. Tickets are $150 for one square and $250 for two squares. There are 100 total squares available, so purchase yours today!
Each purchase helps send our friends to camp this summer. Two tickets pay for a kid’s seat on the bus.
